IN THE heart of the Cotswolds, the Moreton Show is a highly anticipated event scheduled for Saturday, September 2.

Since its inception in 1949, the show has undergone significant growth and transformation, becoming the cherished Moreton Show known today.

Among the principal sponsors for Moreton Show 2023 is Butler Sherborn, a renowned firm recognised as the ‘Cotswolds Property Specialist’.

This year marks their 16th year of sponsorship and, for the eighth consecutive year, they are the title sponsors of the Butler Sherborn Members’ Marquee and Garden.

Anticipated to draw a crowd of approximately 25,000 people, Moreton Show promises an unforgettable one-day extravaganza.

The Grand Arena will showcase an impressive array of acts, including the thrilling Shetland Pony Grand National and the majestic Heavy Horse Parade, captivating spectators throughout the day.

With over 250 trade stands displaying a diverse range of products, as well as a delectable selection of locally produced food and beverages in the Food Hall, there will be no shortage of things to do and enjoy.

The showground itself will be bustling with over 1,000 animals, and attendees are welcome to bring their beloved canine companions along, even participating in the Cotswold Raw Companion Dog Show.

Lauren Cleary, Cotswold Leisure Group – headline sponsor of the Horse Area, said: “Moreton Show is the absolute highlight of our annual exhibition calendar, and we are delighted to be returning for 2023… the team can’t wait to catch up with existing and future customers for a glass of fizz as we showcase our expanding range of Cotswold Eco Tubs (wood-fired hot tubs), wood-fired saunas, outdoor furniture, ice baths & fire pits. We can’t wait for Moreton Show 2023.”

Richard Heath, sponsorship and trade stands secretary added: “Moreton Show remains true to its roots as a traditional agricultural show, and the generosity of our sponsors plays a crucial part in preserving its essence.

“We extend a heartfelt thank you to all sponsors who share our commitment to the rural community; your support truly makes a significant difference.”

The Moreton Show team eagerly awaits the arrival of their esteemed members at the Butler Sherborn Members’ Marquee and Garden on Saturday, September 2.
