AZETS, the UK’s largest regional accountancy firm and business advisor to SMEs, has promoted Stuart Christy to partner and Josh Hughes to assistant manager at the Evesham office.

After qualifying in 2007, Stuart worked with a number of independent practices, before joining Azets Evesham as an associate director in 2018. Stuart is a Fellow Chartered Accountant and a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales.

Josh Hughes began his accountancy career straight from secondary school aged 16, at a small local accountancy firm in Worcester as an apprentice.

After completing the Association of Accounting Technicians qualification and gaining three years’ experience he moved to Azets Evesham in February 2019. He aims to complete his Association of Chartered Certified Accountants’ studies in 2022 to become a Chartered Certified Accountant.

Lin Andrew, partner at Azets, said: “It’s an exciting time for us as we continue to develop our teams to match the demand for our services. Stuart and Josh’s promotions recognise their hard work and development, and we look forward to supporting them in developing their careers and in turn, growing the business in line with our strategic plan.”
