THE A44 Fish Hill in Broadway has been re-opened after a lorry ended up on its side.

Emergency services were called to the scene at about 1.30pm yesterday afternoon (Wednesday) where the white Ivevo Arctic was found on its side on the sharp bend at the bottom of Fish Hill towards Evesham.

The driver managed to get himself out of the lorry and was discharged at the scene and suffered only minor injuries to his nose and forehead.

A paramedic area support officer and an ambulance were sent to the scene.

Worcs Travel tweeted at 9pm last night (Wednesday) to say that the road had been re-opened following the incident.
