A STUNNING tribute to those who made the ultimate sacrifice in the First World War and further conflicts has been unveiled at Pershore’s Cemetery Chapel.
The memorial window was unveiled during a packed weekend of events to mark the anniversary of the end of the First World War.
Three panels depicting the First World War, Second World War and Pershore at peace today form the design of the new addition to the chapel which marks the end of a two year fund-raising bid by Pershore Town Council.
Council chiefs set a target of £49,000 to fund the window which was dedicated during a service on Saturday (November 10).
Following the service, local residents were invited to take a peek during an open afternoon
