A MUCH-LOVED county charity has been boosted with more than £8,000 from the Co-operative Local Funding scheme.
Over the past 12 months Worcestershire Parent and Carers’ Community (WPCC) has been one of the chosen charities of the scheme which sees cash raised in its stores in the local area.
WPCC is a Worcestershire charity which supports families who have one or more children with a disability or additional need. The charity will receive £8142.98 to enable them to offer support with a range of programmes and activities such as family activities, a youth group and well-being sessions for parent carers.
Joint co-ordinator Audrey de Garis said: “Funding like this is invaluable to us to be able to continue the support we offer. We are incredibly grateful for the work the Co-op have done and for the people who donated.”
