TALENTED teenagers at Pershore High School are preparing for the final curtain to fall on their version of the West End smash hit Les Miserables.
Students took to the stage last night (Thursday) for the first of three showings of this popular and well loved musical until Saturday night (March 9).
Aspiring actors were set to hit all the right notes for hits such as ‘I Dreamed a Dream’, ‘On my Own’ and ‘Bring Him Home’
The show has been six months in the making and boasts a cast, crew and band of more than 100 pupils.
Head of drama, Anna Cookson said: “The journey from page to stage has been an epic one; but with lots of fun laughter and friendships made along the way we have enjoyed every minute.
“The pupils have shown excellent commitment and dedication to the production and have really brought the characters of Victor Hugos novel to life through the timeless music.”
