A double taste of success

A CROOME blogger with an appetite for quality food has scooped gold and silver awards at a prestigious ceremony.

Victoria Cronin won gold in the ‘Best use of Social Media’ category and silver in the ‘Best Business Blog’ category of the third annual Worcestershire Hour Social Media Awards, at The Bank House Hotel, Bransford, for her food blog ‘Pershore Patty’.

Named after her hometown and love of burgers, Pershore Patty details all of Victoria’s food adventures and since being launched last January, it has grown in popularity with and array of blog posts featuring restaurants within an hour’s drive of Worcestershire.

Highlights have included working in the two Michelin-starred restaurant ‘Le Champignon Sauvage’ in Cheltenham, following an invitation from chef/patron David Everitt-Matthias to spend half a day with him and his team in the kitchen.

She also shares her food reviews in local publication WR Magazine and has had one of her articles appear in Worcestershire NOW magazine, encouraging tourists to visit Pershore.

“Over the past year I’ve surprised myself with what I’ve been able to achieve with my blog,” said Victoria.

“My social media following has grown to almost 6,000 followers combined. I couldn’t be more pleased with how things have gone.
