PUPILS at an Evesham school ‘tied the knot’ in a mock wedding ceremony to learn more about Christianity.
Year two children at Swan Lane First School gathered at the town’s All Saints Church on Tuesday (September 29) to take part in the traditional wedding ceremony, helping them understand Christian values at first-hand experience.
Evie Boulter and Samuel Harson made their way up the aisle as ‘bride and groom’ as fellow pupils cheered and celebrated, before making their way back to the school to listen to wedding speeches and enjoy a special wedding breakfast.
