A FESTIVE fund-raiser by the Vale of Evesham Round Table has raised £12,700 for local charities and good causes.
Members presented cheques to all partners at Wallace House last Thursday to celebrate the success of December’s Santa Sleigh event which saw Father Christmas hit the town’s streets to visit Evesham youngsters.
A spokesman said: “Thank you to the partners who came out and braved the weather and to the local people who gave generously.
“We could not have done it without the help of the local community who once again supported this special traditional event”
