AN 18-year-old man from Evesham has been handed a Criminal Behaviour Order for criminal activity and anti-social behaviour.

Jordan Gurney, of Albert Road, appeared before Worcester Youth Court last Wednesday (January 20) where he was given the two year order.

He had been involved in aggravated vehicle taking, being a driver of a vehicle which failed to stop, driving without insurance and a licence, assault and drunk and disorderly behaviour.

Gurney was also issued a Youth Rehabilitation Order with a number of conditions, which include a curfew for six months with electronic tagging.

The order now prevents the 18-year-old from using foul, racist and abusive language or gestures, or show aggressive or threatening behaviour in a public place.

He’s also prevented from drinking alcohol in any public place, apart from licensed premises or from being in the company of named individuals in public places.

If Gurney breaches these conditions he could face a custodial sentence.
