A WOMAN’s love for the National Trust will be on offer at Pershore’s Number 8 when Helen Wood brings her National Trust Fan Club show to town.
The show takes to the stage on Friday, February 28 as part of its UK tour and will see Helen share insights from her daring one-woman quest to visit every National Trust property and become a certified super-fan.
Using a combination of personal stories, historical anecdotes, poetry, sketches and selfies, Helen takes the audience on a whirlwind tour of National Trust properties and outdoor spaces around Britain.
Hot on the heels of her acclaimed 2018 show The O.S. Map Fan Club this new show is packed to the brim with Goretex, cream teas, and a loyal canine assistant when National Trust rules allow.
The lifelong performer has revelled in playing larger than life characters such as Mrs Bennett in Pride and Prejudice, Mrs Sparsit in Hard Times and Captain Hook.
