TELEVISION comedian Shappi Khorsandi returns to the stage this autumn and will be stopping off at Evesham in a matter of weeks.

The star of Live At The Apollo, Michael McIntyre’s Comedy Roadshow, Friday Night with Jonathan Ross, Have I Got News for You and Q.I is back touring the UK with a brand new show and will perform at the Evesham Arts Centre on Saturday, November 1.

After being ‘knocked up like a 1950s teenager’ Shappi missed 2013, but now she is back and it’s forward march in her new show titled ‘Because I’m Shappi’.

The show sees Shappi celebrating her haphazard, zigzag towards her dreams and introduces audiences to friends, family and total strangers who have helped her on her personal Yellow Brick Road.

She is feisty, flirty and effortlessly funny and handles every subject with a razor sharp wit, softened only by her deliciously dizzy delivery and endless charm.

A well-known face on the small screen, Shappi also had the honour of being nominated at the prestigious 2010 British Comedy Awards in the Best Female Comic category up against fellow nominee’s Jo Brand and Sarah Millican.

Shappi is also the best selling author of ‘A Beginners Guide to Acting English’ by Bloomsbury.

Tickets for the show cost £15 and are available by visiting www.eveshamartscentre.co.uk or by calling 01386 446944.
