THE FESTIVE season will be swinging its way to a popular Cheltenham venue next week when Britain’s longest running Rat Pack tribute show comes to town.
The Rat Pack are currently celebrating a record breaking 15 years as the number one tribute act in the UK and are set to amaze Cheltenham’s Bacon Theatre audiences with a magical recreation of the ‘Christmas at the Sands’ concert on Saturday (December 20).
In the company of Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin and Sammy Davis Jr, as performed by David Alacey from Lovejoy fame, Former Eastenders actor Des Coleman and Paul Drakeley from Inside Out – The Rat Pack Swinging Christmas Show promises incredible music, a star studded line-up and wonderful 1960s glamour.
Jess Waterman from the Bacon Theatre said: “This show has successfully toured venues throughout the UK and Europe for many years including appearances at The Royal Command Performance, The O2 Arena and even performing for former US
President, Bill Clinton at London’s Roundhouse.
“So we are thrilled to bring this fantastic musical celebration to the Bacon Theatre.”
The Swinging Christmas Show will be packed with classic hits including My Way, New York New York, Fly Me to the Moon and seasonal classics such as Winter Wonderland and of course White Christmas.
With special guest appearances from the stunning Silverbell Showgirls, together with BBC Musical Director Don Hunt’s acclaimed band; this promises to be an ideal yuletide treat for the whole family.
