Shadows tribute to rock arts centre

EVESHAM residents are being invited to re-live and enjoy the 60’s music of the iconic rock band The Shadows.

Renowned tribute band ‘Into the Shadows’ will perform at Evesham Arts Centre on Saturday, October 29, to share the unique 60’s guitar sound of the legendary instrumental rock group.

The band comprises of lead guitarist Geoff Broadbent, who recreates the true Hank B Marvin style, drummer Colin Evans, rhythm guitarist John Haden and bass player John Clayton.

Into the Shadows will perform all the famous hits, including ‘Wonderful Land’, ‘Guitar Tango’, ‘Frightened City’, ‘Dance On’, ‘FBI’, ‘Atlantis’, ‘Man of Mystery’ and the iconic number one hit ‘Apache’.




The great music doesn’t stop there, as the show also features many other Cliff and The Shadows numbers and other classic guitar hits, such as ‘Cavatina’ and ‘Don’t Cry for me Argentina’.

The tribute band’s many years of experience touring the Midlands and South West is evident through their polished sound and the incredible authentic atmosphere they create.


So come along to this enjoyable night of classic 60’s rock, which will leave everyone on their feet and wanting more.

The event starts at 7.30pm and tickets cost £18 for adults and £16 for concessions.
