PERSHORE Number 8 Community Arts Centre mark the end of 2017 and the start of 2018 in style with a broadcast of the Berliner Philharmoniker: New Year’s Eve Gala Concert.
Live from the Berliner Philharmonie, this glittering live broadcast will begin on New Year’s Eve from 4pm with local music lovers invited to sit back and enjoy the majesty of the Berliner Philharmoniker.
Led by the incomparable Sir Simon Rattle, this concert will see star guest Joyce DiDonato, the internationally acclaimed mezzo-soprano, take to the stage to perform Richard Strauss’s lavishly beautiful orchestral songs.
The concert programme will also including works by Dvorak, Stravinsky, Bernstein and Shostakovich.
Broadcast live in HD with stunning 5.1 surround sound, the concert also includes exclusive interviews and programme insights and the ticket price includes a glass of fizz.
Following the festivities, guests are invited to join volunteers in The Foyer after the event to raise a toast to the approaching New Year.
Tickets cost £16 and £15 for the Friends of Pershore Number 8, which all include an 85p booking fee if bought online.
