RENOWNED American master quilter, musician, composer and raconteur, Ricky Tims, is heading to Pershore to showcase his endless talent.
Organised for P&Q Tours, the entertaining and charismatic Ricky will be flying in from the USA for a night of music, stories and humour at Pershore Number 8 Community Arts Centre, on Thursday, July 13.
Largely known for his spectacular quilt making, this show will also showcase Ricky’s musical talents.
He has successfully blended two diverse passions into one very unique and interesting career.
His skills as a pianist, composer and producer have been evident by the thousands who have heard and praised his music.
Ricky has been making quilts since 1991 and has won numerous international awards for his designs, including being recently named as one of ‘The Thirty Most Distinguished Quilters in the World’.
Before his performance, Ricky will be hosting a series of seminars throughout the day at Number 8.
The event runs from 7.30pm to 9pm and costs £15, which includes an 85p booking fee if bought online.
