AN EVENING of timeless melodies and unforgettable classics is on offer as Pershore Operatic and Dramatic Society (PODS) bring the best of the West End and Broadway to Pershore.
The town’s Number 8 Community Arts Centre will play host to the latest show from PODS, ‘The Best of the West End and Broadway’, from Monday, June 11 to Saturday, June 16.
This evening brings the timeless melodies and unforgettable lyrics of songs from West End and Broadway shows together with the stunning vocal and dancing talents of PODS, a superb live band and fantastic costumes.
Featuring more than 30 shows in all including The Phantom of the Opera, Les Miserables, Wicked, Chicago, Chorus Line, Evita, Motown the Musical, Starlight Express, West Side Story and Rent, this is one show you must not miss.
After a week of music and memories, the High Street venue will bring the show to a close with a gala evening on Saturday where guests are invited to go glamourous and make the audience sparkle.
Shows start each evening at 7.30pm and tickets cost £11 for Monday’s show, £13 for shows from Tuesday to Thursday and £15 for Friday and Saturday’s performances, which all include an 85p booking fee if bought online.
