PENGUINS, puppets and PODYS are on the menu for families at Pershore’s Number 8 Community Arts Centre this half term.
Families can discover the secrets of the most entertaining and mysterious birds in the global espionage game at screenings of Penguins of Madagascar in 3D tomorrow (Saturday) from 11am.
A 2D screening will be held on Wednesday (February 18) from 11am with a special family film price of £5.
Children are in for a treat when Krazy Kat Theatre Company bring Cinder-Ella to the stage on Tuesday (February 17) at 2.30pm.
For four to eight year olds, and their grown- ups, Cinder-Ella injects new life into the classic fairytale, as told by a much put-upon Grandfather to a rather leaky baby!
Join Krazy Kat performer Kinny Gardner in imaginative silliness with inventive puppetry, dolls, sign language, an old pram, magic tricks, tunes from Rossini’s opera and even an aria.
Tickets cost £6 for adults and £15 for children.
Later in the week Pershore Operatic and Dramatic Youth Section (PODYS) bring their production of Disney High School Musical, on Stage! to the centre.
The popular story of teenage life in an American High School, full of amours, dance, music and clan clashes will be performed by some of Pershore’s most talented youngsters next Friday (February 20) from 7pm.
Further peformance will take place next Saturday (February 21) at 1.30pm and 7pm and evening tickets cost £11 with matinee tickets at £9.
Tickets for all events are on sale now from Number 8 Box Office on 01386 555488
