VALE residents are being invited to an enchanting fairytale pantomime guaranteed to melt everyone’s hearts this winter.

Phoenix Theatre Group is delighted to announce its acclaimed ‘Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs’ pantomime will be performed at Evesham Arts Centre from Wednesday, January 18 to Sunday, January 22.

The story tells the tale of the beautiful Snow White, who takes refuge in a forest in the house of seven dwarfs to hide from her stepmother, the wicked Queen.

The Queen is jealous because she wants to be known as ‘the fairest in the land,’ and Snow White’s beauty surpasses her own.

One day while the dwarfs are at their diamond mine, the Queen arrives at the house disguised as an old peddler woman and persuades Snow White to bite into a poisoned apple.

She is then placed into a glass coffin in the woods, where only a true love’s first kiss will wake her from the Queen’s deathlike spell.

So will Snow White meet her handsome Prince and save the day?

The pantomime promises to dazzle with spectacular sets, sparkling costumes, side-splitting comedy and lots of fun for the whole family to enjoy.

The event costs £12 and starts at 7.30pm from Wednesday to Saturday and includes a 2.30pm matinee on Saturday and Sunday.

Call the centre’s Box Office on 01386 446944 or visit www.eveshamartscentre.co.uk for more information.
