THE OWNERS of Evesham’s art deco cinema and live events venue are inviting customers to join them for a special celebratory evening 85 years to the day since it opened its doors.
Celebrations will take place on Tuesday, October 10 at the 7.30pm screening of The Limehouse Golem, starring Regal favourite, Bill Nighy.
Customers will receive a glass of prosecco on arrival and are invited to look at an archive photo exhibition in The Regal’s circle bar before watching archive video footage on the big screen.
A murder mystery, The Limehouse Golem sees Nighy lead a fine cast as a detective assigned to solve the case of a serial killer on the loose in Victorian London. Guests can also purchase a collectable souvenir programme and limited edition prints and postcards.
Ian Wiper, Managing Director, said; “The phenomenal support we received from members of the local community during the refurbishment project, and the ongoing support we have received since re-opening, proves how integral The Regal is to Evesham.
“We’re looking forward to celebrating 85 years of this beautiful building held at the heart of the Evesham community and hope our customers will join in with our celebrations.”
Tickets for the special 85th anniversary event are charged at the standard ticket price and available at www.theregal.ac or by calling 01386 421007.
