AN EVESHAM theatrical school will celebrate its 135th anniversary with a performance in the town.
Following its recent win of the ‘Best Musical Award’ at the 2015 National Operatic and Dramatic Association Awards, Evesham Operatic and Dramatic Society (EODS) will perform its production of ‘A Night At The Movies’ at Evesham Arts Centre from Thursday (May 19) to Saturday (May 21).
The glitz and glamour of Hollywood will arrive in Evesham as EODS get suited and booted in their finest to perform a plethora of iconic numbers from everyone’s favourite blockbusters, spanning from the 1930s to present day.
As well as being one of the oldest amateur dramatics societies in the UK, EODS have multiple accolades to their name and are renowned for their sensational showmanship and their consistently entertaining productions.
Their unwavering talents combined with the dazzling musical delights from the big screen are guaranteed to make A Night At The Movies an unforgettable experience.
From the Wizard of Oz to Moulin Rouge and The Jungle Book to Titanic, there will be something for everyone to enjoy.
Each event starts at 7.30pm and costs £12 for adults and £10 for concessions and groups of ten or more.
