COMEDIAN, broadcaster and columnist Mark Steel will be offering words of reassurance in these chaotic times with an appearance at the town’s arts centre in March.
The popular personality will be at the Victoria Avenue venue on March 29 for his Every Little Thing’s Gonna Be Alright tour.
Not long ago, it seemed highly unlikely the UK would vote to leave the EU. We had a reasonable opposition to the
Tory Government, Donald Trump was a buffoon who surely wasn’t going to beat Hilary Clinton and Mark was living the married suburban ideal.
Since then, it’s all gone wrong but Mark will be on hand to provide comic relief to his audience on a world which seems even more barmy than it is.
He has presented the BAFTA-nominated Mark Steel Lectures for BBC Two and is a regular on BBC One’s Have I Got News For You and Radio 4’s The News Quiz.
Every Little Thing’s Gonna Be Alright will take place at 8pm on March 29.
Tickets are £15 from the Box Office on 01386 446944
