EVESHAM and Pershore residents are being invited to a night of spectacular classical music to mark the 50th anniversary of the Rotary Club of Pershore.

The acclaimed ‘Golden Jubilee Concert’ will be performed at Pershore Number 8 Community Arts Centre tomorrow (Saturday), where renowned soloists from the English Symphony Orchestra will deliver the very best of the classical genre.

The packed programme will include the work of Elgar, Debussy, Korngold and Gershwin and will by performed by four outstanding and talented musicians.

Catherine Handley will play the flute, Hugh Webb will showcase his incredible skills on the harp, Corinne Frost will take to the cello and Stephen Warner will amaze the audience on the double bass and classical guitar.




You can also come to the centre prior to the concert to enjoy some sparkling wine and canapes, before being taken away on a musical journey through the very best of classical orchestra.

All profits from the event will be donated to Acorns Children’s Hospice, so come along to this incredible evening to mark the Rotary Club of Pershore’s milestone and to experience a night you won’t forget.


The event runs from 7.30pm to 9.30pm – which includes an interval – and tickets cost £15 per person.
