JENNIFER Saunders and Joanna Lumley are making their big screen debut this July in Absolutely Fabulous: The Movie.
And to celebrate, Evesham’s Regal is hosting two special dress-up events next weekend on Friday (July 8) and Saturday (July 9).
Customers are invited to join staff at the Regal in dressing as their favourite Ab Fab characters for the events which will involve a paparazzi reception, prizes for the best dressed and champagne all round
Absolutely Fabulous: The Movie sees the return of Julia Sawalha as Saffy, Jane Horrocks as Bubble and June Whitfield as Mother amongst a host of A-list stars including Kate Moss, Jon Hamm, Lulu, Rebel Wilson and Joan Collins.
Laurence Wiper from the Regal said; “We can’t wait to celebrate the return of Eddy and Patsy. It’s been twenty-four years since the characters first tottered onto our screens swigging champers and they are still as popular as ever.
“Our special dress-up events will be an occasion to remember with red carpet, paparazzi, Ab Fab cocktails and more.”
The film is showing at The Regal Cinema from Friday, July 8 and tickets are on sale now. The special dress-up events start with a paparazzi reception at 8pm on both nights.
