Evesham Editorial 7th Aug, 2014 Updated: 20th Oct, 2016

THERE’S plenty of summer fun for children in Pershore this month as Number 8 rolls out its holiday programme.

The Community Arts Centre, on the High Street, is putting on a range of shows and activities for youngsters on their school break, which are set to run throughout August.

In the run up to the town’s Plum Festival children can try their hand at making festival inspired paper mache bowls in the Plum Craft Workshop on Thursday, August 14.

Bowls made in this session will be on display at the centre from August 15 to 27 as part of the Children’s Craft Showcase.

Clive Chandler and his puppets will be in the building on Tuesday, August 19, performing Jack and the Beanstalk at 2pm.

Tickets cost £6 for adults and £5 for children.

Young people with learning difficulties can also join in the fun by taking part in the week-long This is Me! Drama Project from Monday August 18 to Friday August 22.

For more information about the activities visit www.number8.org and tickets are on sale from the Number 8 Box Office on 01386 555488.
