THE MUCH-LOVED children’s tale of Peter Pan will be performed at Pershore Number 8 Community Arts Centre on Saturday, June 17.

Aired live from London’s National Theatre, this showing of JM Barrie’s magical fairytale is a thrilling spectacle that will capture the imagination of all children and adults alike.

Directed by Sally Cookson in a co-production with the Bristol Old Vic theatre, this wondrously inventive play tells the story of one child who never grew up, Peter Pan.

As leader of the Lost Boys, Peter finds himself in a dilemma when he loses his shadow, but a headstrong Wendy attempts to help him find and reattach it.

In return, she is invited to the mystical world of Neverland, where Tinker Bell the fairy, Tiger Lily and the vengeful Captain Hook await her for a journey of a lifetime.

The Radio Times hailed the play as ‘a dazzling production’ that was ‘spellbindingly imaginative’, so come along to an adventure that is sure to delight.

The event starts at 2pm and tickets cost £15 for adults and £10 for students and children aged 16 and under.

There will be an additional 85p booking fee if bought online.

Call the centre on 01386 555488 or visit www.number8.org for more information.
