A PAIR of well-known children’s stories will hit the big screen at Pershore Number 8 Community Arts Centre in a series of bite-sized ballets created especially for children.
Presented by the Northern Ballet, the series will see Elves and the Shoemaker on Saturday (March 2) before the Three Little Pigs arrive on Saturday, April 19. Both screenings start at 2.00pm.
These much loved classic tales are brought to life in colourful, fun and engaging productions. Featuring playful characters and vibrant animation along with spellbinding music, these bite-sized ballets were made with young families and pre-schoolers in mind.
Both ballets feature an introduction to the story from popular BBC presenter Anita Rani. Anita also leads a ‘learn the dance moves’ session with some of the characters giving little ones the chance to join in.
Originally shown on CBeebies, the ballets were so popular they have been remastered and designed especially for cinema.
Tickets are on sale from Number 8 Box Office on 01386 555488 priced at £8.50 and £7 for those under 16-years-old.
