PERSHORE residents are being invited to experience the dazzling spectacle of André Rieu’s festive ‘Christmas with André’ via satellite.
Be transported to the heart of the stunning medieval Dutch city of Maastricht on Saturday (November 17), to be blown away by ‘The King of Waltz’ and his legendary orchestra at Pershore Number 8 Community Arts Centre.
Packed with seasonal favourites including Hallelujah, Jingle Bells, White Christmas and Amazing Grace, the maestro will be joined by his world famous 60-piece Johann Strauss Orchestra, sopranos, tenors and special guests.
This heart-warming, festive treat will also feature host Charlotte Hawkins, who introduces the show and conducts an interview with André Rieu – which is filmed exclusively for cinema audiences.
André Rieu said: “Every year we find ways to make my hometown concerts a unique experience for our audiences in the square, as well as those who watch us in the cinemas.
“We put a lot of time, energy and love into creating something special. It’s Maastricht magic.”
The show, as André Rieu promises, will deliver an unforgettable musical experience full of humour, fun and emotion for all ages.
The two-hour concert will be aired at 5pm and tickets cost £18.
