Enjoy a little bit of New Jersey at Arts Centre

EVESHAM residents are being invited to a night of swinging 60s and 70s music to celebrate a magical music phenomenon.

The hugely popular Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons will be celebrated in the larger than life musical ‘Sherry Babys’, next Saturday (November 14) at Evesham Arts Centre.

The show tells the story of how ‘The Jersey Boys’ became one of the most successful bands of all time, through dazzling the audience with the iconic classics of Still of the Night, Sherry, Teenager in Love, Oh Carol and Why do Fools Fall in Love.

With slick choreography and the trademark falsetto this really sets the scene for a great night, as the acoustic versions of the songs highlight the band’s diversity and harmonic sound.

Hits such as Can’t Take My Eyes Off You, Let’s Hang On, Ragdoll, Grease, Working my Way Back to You and Oh What a Night have been authentically recreated to revive the sublime harmonies of New Jersey’s finest performers.

An Evesham Arts Centre spokesperson said: “The Sherry Babys went down so well with audiences on their last visit to Evesham, so we’re very pleased to have got them back to do another show.”

The event starts at 7.30pm and tickets cost £20 and can be bought in advance at Evesham’s Almonry.

Visit www.EveshamArtsCentre.co.uk or call The Almonry on 01386 446944 for more information.
