Enhance drama skills with workshop

Evesham Editorial 15th Jan, 2015 Updated: 20th Oct, 2016   0

IF you enjoy taking part in theatre or drama productions or think you might, then there is a new opportunity to enhance your skills, learn something new, or just practise a bit more.

Eric Jones, who recently directed Sweeney Todd The Musical for Evesham’s EODS, and many more plays and musicals before that, is proposing to run drama workshops in Evesham on occasional Mondays starting on Monday (January 19).

Some drama exercises or games which are used by professional actors in rehearsals, some ideas about voice, posture, characterisation, little bits from well-known plays and so on, will form part of the evening sessions, lasting less than two hours, from 7.30pm.

These sessions are useful, interesting and a great deal of fun for everyone involved.

The sessions will cost just £2 to cover cost of scripts, copying and other expenses or materials and can be aimed at those from mid-teens upwards already involved in drama, or novices who might like to know a little more.

Drama is always good for learning new skills, improving your own self-confidence and preparation for life!

If you’d like to know more about exact dates, where the sessions are taking place, call Eric Jones on 01386 48788 or 07973 802285, or e-mail [email protected]
