EVESHAM residents are being invited to a hilarious and hysterical evening packed with the very best of Cornish comedy.
Brian Shaw Concerts and Evesham Arts are proud to announce the UK’s ‘greatest comic storyteller’ Jethro will take to the stage at Evesham Arts Centre on Thursday, June 16 and Friday, June 17.
Full of farcical stories and tall tales, ‘40 Years The Joker’ will offer the public a glimpse at the circus lurking deep within the mind of the eccentric comic.
Once a ‘timber man’ at Lavant Tin Mine, Jethro performs armed with nothing more than a microphone, a stand and a small table with his favourite drink to hand.
More than four million DVD sales and 250,000 theatre tickets a year pay testament to the legion of fans who have followed Jethro faithfully throughout his career.
He beguiles and befuddles his audience with the endless stream of irreverent twaddle that has created a comedy genius, so come along to what promises to be a memorable night with the ‘Cream of Cornish comedy’.
The event starts at 7.30pm each evening and tickets cost £20, which can be bought in advance from Evesham Almonry Museum and Heritage Centre.
Call the theatre’s Box Office on 01386 446944 or visit www.eveshamartscentre.co.uk for more information.
