A POPULAR village club near Broadway is set for one of its biggest gigs to date next weekend when an internationally known tribute band comes to town.

Guns vs Roses will be performing at the Stanton Village Club on Saturday (October 11) starting at 8pm and are set to become the club’s biggest guests in history.

Guns Vs Roses members are single-handedly picked from various Guns N’ Roses tribute bands past and present. Picked not only for their ability, but for their looks and flair as well.

They accurately reproduce the original band’s sound and unforgettable stage performance and have performed to audiences all over the world but predominantly in the UK.

Stanton Village Club’s entertainment manager Robin Williams told the Observer: “I booked this band over a year ago and I am really looking forward to seeing them on October 11.

“They are the largest band we have had at the club and I have had to get a PA big enough for them. The guy doing the lights for us has worked with the Shakespeare Company of Bath and lit bands at Glastonbury.”

Tickets cost £10 and are available by calling 01242 621483 or 07783 816967 or by visiting www.stantonclub.co.uk.
