A TRIBUTE to one of the greatest artists in British pop music history will take to the stage at Pershore Number 8 Community Arts Centre this Saturday (May 20).
Dubbed as the most authentic Cliff and the Shadows tribute act in the UK, Simon Goodall and the Bourne Again Shadows will celebrate the pop legend, whose chart successes span six decades.
Simon’s ability to catch the characteristics of Cliff’s voice is second to none and the Bourne Again Shadows’ sound is as distinctive as the original Shadows recordings.
The two-hour extravaganza promises to thrill audiences with all Cliff’s classic numbers including Summer Holiday, Living Doll, Apache and Wonderful Land.
Even Sir Cliff Richard himself hailed the Simon Goodall and the Bourne Again Shadows as ‘without doubt the best Cliff soundalike in the business’.
With a range of pop, rock, ballads and jazz hits, Cliff Richard and the Shadows bagged 69 UK chart singles from the 1950s to the 2000s, making them the second most successful act in the history of the UK singles chart, only behind the legendary Elvis Presley.
The event starts at 7.30pm and tickets cost £18, which includes an 85p booking fee if bought online.
