Anything Goes at Number 8

TALENTED members of Pershore Operatic and Dramatic Society (PODS) are getting set to present their take on the PG Wodehouse and Guy Bolton classic Anything Goes.

Pershore’s Number 8 Community Arts Centre will be the venue for Cole Porter’s classic story of romance, mistaken identities and celebrity chasing aboard the SS American on its voyage from New York to London

This funny, fast and furious feel-good show with glorious songs from Cole Porter such as, I Get a Kick Out of You, You’re the Top, Friendship, Easy to Love and the title song Anything Goes.

Originally produced by the Lincoln Centre Theatre in New York, PODS members are taking to the stage by arrangement with Musicscope and Stage Limited Musicals of New York.

Anything Goes will be at the Number 8 from Monday, June 13 to Saturday, June 18 from 7.30pm each night.

Tickets are £12 for Monday, £13 Tuesday to Thursday and £14 for the Friday and Saturday evening performances.
