LEWIS Middleton’s second-half goal earned Evesham United a 1-0 win against Racing Club Warwick in an FA Cup replay.
Middleton scored the game’s only goal on 71 minutes at the Spiers and Hartwell Stadium to keep the club’s FA Cup dream alive.
And the win means Evesham will play AFC Telford United in FA Cup third round qualifying at New Bucks Head on the weekend of Saturday, September 27.
The Robins play one level above the Racers but needed a replay to see off the Northern Premier League Midlands side.
Middleton broke the deadlock on 71 minutes when he changed direction and planted a shot into the net.
That came after the two teams played out a remarkable 3-3 draw in the original tie last weekend.
Evesham are next in action against Wimborne Town on Saturday, September 20 with kick-off at 3pm at the Wyatt Homes Stadium.
