VALE bowlers David Hill of Aston Somerville BC and skip Mike Emms of Littleton BC have reached the National Finals of the men’s senior pairs competition.
The duo, who will represent Worcestershire in the prestigious event in Leamington, have taken part in the event for the past ten years and lost out in the area finals last year.
They recently played their fifth game in the competition this season to get through to the Finals, overcoming strong Worcester pair Alan Clarke and Robin Hampton 26-13.
This is the first time a representative of both Aston Somerville and Littleton Bowling Club has gone through to any National Finals.
The duo appreciate they will be playing against some very experienced players at this level but are relishing the challenge.
