Vale of Evesham Civic Society announce programme of events

THE VALE of Evesham Civic Society has released its action packed programme of events to keep residents entertained all summer and even into late autumn and winter.

First up is a coffee morning from 10am on July 9 at St Richard’s Hospice in Worcester. Expect coffee, conversation, talks, a tour and lunch.

An afternoon garden part social event will be held later in the month at 14 Owletts End, Evesham on July 20.

Following on from July, there will be an organised Hartlebury Castle trip on August 13. In September there will a showing of films exploring the seven towns of Worcestershire in the 1960’s.

Coming into the colder months, there will be a talk with Michael Hodges of Pershore Civic Society on conservation, restoration, and preservation.

Even further into winter, further engaging talks are scheduled for November 12. The contents of the talks have yet to be announced.




September and November events take place from 7.30pm at Ecgwins CLub, 117 High Street, Evesham. Members tickets, £4. Visitors, £5. Coffee morning is £12.
