THE TEAM at Dogs Trust Evesham are appealing to local dog lovers to join them in their ‘Sit and Stay’ fitness challenge to raise thousands of pounds for rescue dogs.
The Wall Sit Challenge, which runs throughout October, has three levels to choose from starting with the one-minute Beginner Beagle, the two-minute Advanced Akita and for Wall Sit experts the three- minute Pro Pointer.
Wall sitting is a popular strengthening exercise and involves people placing their back against a wall with their feet shoulder width apart and a little distance from the wall, then lowering their hips until their knees form right angles.
