A PERSHORE air cadet is flying high after completing his RAF Leadership Course

Cadet Sergeant Jason Aldington, a member of 233 (Pershore) Squadron ATC, recently completed the “Junior Leaders” course run by the Air Training Corps.

This course is run in three phases and split into 8 separate training weekends and a 10-day test phase which covers a range of activities, from tactics and leadership, to interview and management skills.

Out of almost 40,000 cadets nationwide, over 150 cadets passed the selection to start the course, with less than 60 making the grade at the end of the 9 months.

Officer Commanding 233 Squadron, Pilot Officer Rebecca Pritchett said: “We all very impressed and proud of Sergeant Aldington who has proven himself to be one of the top cadets in the country”.

The Junior Leaders course is one of the many activities Air Cadets undertake, from Flying and Gliding to Shooting and Adventurous Training.
