A QUICK response from police led to a man being arrested after reports an individual was trying to open doors of homes in Childswickham.
At 10.40pm last Thursday (April 19), the force received calls from concerned residents on Broadway Road of a man acting suspiciously, trying doors of a number of houses.
In under ten minutes officers, who had been on patrol nearby, were in the area and arrested a suspect.
The 20-year-old man from Evesham was arrested on suspicion of attempted burglary. He has been released on bail.
