MENTAL health services are open and accessible to people in Herefordshire and Worcestershire who are struggling or need support with their mental wellbeing.

Herefordshire and Worcestershire Health and Care NHS Trust, the main providers of mental health services in both counties are encouraging anyone who is struggling to manage feelings of stress or anxiety to contact the Herefordshire and Worcestershire Healthy Minds Service.

With many people experiencing increased levels of stress and worry at the moment, it’s important to know that services are still open and accessible – even during lockdown.

It’s not uncommon to experience stress and for many people stress will soon pass, however prolonged periods of stress can impact on your mental health.

Like many, the juggling act of working from home or home-schooling during may have left you experiencing increased signs of stress, for example more headaches, irritability or trouble sleeping.

If you find yourself in this position, the Healthy Minds service can help.

The team work across both counties to deliver a free, self-referral service providing a range of talking therapies, including group and 1:1 therapy, as well as online courses and self-help resources.

In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, the service is running virtual group activities, which you can join remotely from home.

Healthy Minds can also provide you with access to an online course called Silvercloud. The course is free and can be completed in your own time and at your own pace and can fit it in around work or family commitments.

If you think you need some support contact the team on the below numbers. You don’t need a referral from a GP or another healthcare professional first.
