HEADWAY Worcestershire, the county charity supporting adults with Acquired Brain Injuries (ABIs), is appealing to the community to help them.

The charity based at The Mill, Gregory’s Mill Street, Worcester is seeking new members to join the current team in supporting and improving life for adults with ABIs.

Chief executive Mandie Fitzgerald said the charity would welcome interest in two paid roles; a Support/Care Worker and a Wellbeing Service Care and Support Worker.

“It’s a really rewarding place to work and we would love to see some new faces to help us to improve the lives of those who need our care,” she said.

Feedback for Headway Worcestershire’s support workers is exceptional, one recent review shared on Facebook said: “I was shopping in Sainsbury’s at St John’s, Worcester and a young lad wearing a Headway Worcestershire lanyard was accompanying a man whilst he was doing his shopping.

“How he spoke and treated the man was amazing, spot on… I work for the NHS and I know how important it is to be appreciated and I hope this lad knows he is doing a great job and I, for one, am extremely grateful,” the reviewer added.
