MARKET Square in Evesham town centre will come alive tomorrow (Saturday) in an open community festival that will celebrate Polish culture and the Polish community’s contribution to life in the UK.
A lively programme starting at midday includes traditional folk music and dance, an exhibition of students’ artwork from the Polish Language School in Evesham, Polish food, community stalls, and family-friendly activities.
Organiser Agnieszka Kedra of the Polish Community Evesham, said: “As Poles around the world celebrate Polish National Day and Polish Diaspora Day, we hope people will join us in celebrating our shared heritage and supporting the local Polish community.”
