ELMLEY Castle Lodge of Freemasons recently presented a cheque for £525 to Campden Home Nursing at its Jecca’s House base in Chipping Campden.
The money was raised by a ladies night held at the Vale Golf Club on March 28 will assist the independent charity provide much-needed palliative care in the home and bereavement counselling across Worcestershire, North Gloucestershire and parts of south Warwickshire.
Steven Marshall, chief executive of Campden Home Nursing told the Observer: “It is with heartfelt thanks that we receive this donation.
“We depend entirely on the generosity of donors to do our vital work in the community.”
Campden Home Nursing supports children 13 and under with therapeutic play activities at Jecca’s House and Bengeworth CE Academy as part of its bereavement services.
