TWO men were arrested on suspicion of drug dealing in Evesham town centre after police spotted them acting strangely.
The two individuals were sitting in a van in Waitrose car park when their actions came to the attention of officers.
Following a search of both men and the vehicle, they were arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply Class A and Class B drugs after a quantity of suspected illegal substances was found.
The suspects were questioned in relation to the offences and have been released under investigation while further inquiries continue.
A spokesperson said: “We remain committed to tackling drug‑related activity and keeping Evesham safe for everyone.”
