POLICE are appealing for a woman who witnessed an attempted dog theft in Evesham on Saturday (April 11) to come forward.
Around 3pm on Four Pools Road officers are aware the woman witnessed a man get out of a white van and take a brown Dachshund.
She challenged the man who continued to put the dog into his van and drove away.
The dog was located and returned to his home later that afternoon.
Officers would like to speak to the woman who witnessed the dog being taken to help with their enquiries.
