RETIREES in Evesham and the Vale are being invited to a cheese and wine event this April by a retirement home developer.

Churchill Living is inviting people who are 60 or more to taste a selection of cheese and wine in friendly company, whilst finding out about the lifestyle on offer at Charles Lodge and Bewick Court.

The event on Wednesday, April 22,  takes place from 2pm to 4pm and is free to attend for prospective customers and their families and friends.

Staff from Churchill Living will be on hand to explain the help on offer for anyone potentially looking to make a move, including free downsizing advice, help with estate agent fees and legal costs, specially tailored moving services, and ongoing support throughout the process.

Churchill’s senior divisional marketing manager Caroline Haswell said: “Our cheese and wine event is a perfect way for anyone who is considering a move to sample the lifestyle they could be enjoying at Charles Lodge and Bewick Court.

“We’re excited to welcome prospective customers and their families to take a look around and meet the thriving community who are already calling it home.

“If you’ve ever been curious about what’s on offer here, why not come and pay us a visit?”

Retirement home developer Churchill Living was recognised by Vale of Evesham Civic Society in February with an award of merit for the sympathetic way it has designed and created homes designed on underused land at Swan Lane in keeping with the town’s conservation area.

There are a limited number of low-maintenance, one and two bedroom retirement apartments available to rent and buy.
