A COFFEE morning at Richmond Villages Wood Norton made nearly £900 for Alzheimer’s Research UK earlier this month.

Retirees welcome members of the community to take part in a range of activities including a tombola stall, arts and crafts, and a raffle, giving residents and visitors alike the chance to contribute.

Guests were also entertained by live music from local talent Malcolm and Steve, who sang throughout the morning, adding to the lively and welcoming environment.

With an entrance donation of £2.50, attendees enjoyed tea or coffee alongside a slice of cake while supporting a meaningful cause.

A total of £889 has gone to help fund vital research and support ongoing initiatives aimed at improving the lives of those affected by dementia.

James Culley, village manager, said: “We were thrilled to welcome the community to what was a fun-filled and wholesome morning.

“The cause we supported is close to our hearts, and it was wonderful to see our residents interacting with people from all walks of life while raising money for such an important charity.”

Richmond Villages Wood Norton welcomes all stages of living from independent and assisted living apartments to a dedicated on-site care home offering both short and long-term care.
