A QUARTET of junior players from Broadway Golf Club have earned a place in Gloucestershire’s county boys squad.
Broadway’s Ambrose Eaves will captain Gloucestershire’s under-18 squad with teammate Will Preen to feature in the same side.
And Matty Hammond and Tommy Sutherland will both feature for Gloucestershire’s under-16 squad.
The Gloucestershire county boys squads form part of a wider county programme which aims to nurture and showcase the skills of golfers across the region.
And the under-18 squad take part in a number of major events throughout the season including the English County Championship and the Severnside Four Counties competitions.
The under-16s compete in their own version of the Channel League which mirrors the pathway of the county’s first team.
