VITAL works to upgrade underground gas pipes in the Glenmoor area of Eckington is due to begin on Monday (January 26).
The maintenance project by Wales & West Utilities will ensure gas continues to flow safely and reliably to homes and businesses across the area and is expected to last until April 20.
Planned in conjunction with Worcestershire County Council, and the following road closures will be in place on Nafford Road (January 26 to February 13) and New Road (16 to 27 February).
Diversion routes will be signposted.
Mick Gallavin of Wales & West Utilities said: “We know that working in areas like this is not ideal, but it is essential to make the gas network fit for the future.
“While most of the gas network is underground and out of sight, it plays a central role in the daily lives of this community.”
